20k on the Western Way

A run in photos !

I decided to get some mountain running in and use the Western Way as a guide today. It is a hiking route in the West of Ireland and I used a part of it along with a diversion onto a mountin for my run today. At last the weather was fantastic.

Some boardwalk running enroute.

Sweaty me at the top of mountain, and the view!

Some more of the view. The very top of Lough Corrib and the Hill of Doon in second photo. What a day !

An enjoyable weeks training with two 20km runs thrown in. Let us hope this weather continues.
