Well to start off here, im posting a link to the adventure race series of Ireland. It is a bit flattering considering I am not racing in Killarney this weekend, but at the same time it is cool to see my name so close to the top !
The plan this week has been to take it handy after my twist in the race on Saturday and also , the rest is needed. I went to gym Tuesday, ran a 6km yesterday as well as a 5km kayak today, to keep moving but nothing too frantic. I think it is important to keep rest a little active and as long as we don’t feel burnt out it is ok. I also need to keep moving the ankle and work on strengthening it in the next few weeks.
Sea to Summit is the next big race on November the 8th, so plenty time to get prepared and train for that yet. Next week it will be back to the hard work and hopefully hit more hills to get my mountain speed up to scratch!
3rd Place trophy from Connemara Rough Diamond last Saturday.
Nice to win something small but even better to complete a new race and look forward to beating my time there next year !
