I finished the week with a good gym session. A 5 minute warm up,10 minutes core session followed by 30 minutes spinning (hill and sprint intervals), 10 minutes strength work and I finished with a 15 minute run (1 minute on at 18km/hr ,1 minute off at 13km/hr). The plan for the weekend is a good hill session tomorrow at Castlehackett and I’ve a soccer match on Sunday to finish the week off. A normal week training by all accounts. I managed to sign up for 4 adventure races for 2014, The Wicklow WAR, Gaelforce North and West, and Connemara adventure challenge. But before adventure season kicks off il get a few 10k races in and hopefully as much bike work as possible. 2014 is shaping up!
